How Much Does it Cost?
Costs will be discussed when we call you about scheduling a appointment. Nobody is turned away for inability to pay! We will work with you to find a way you can afford to get all of your cats fixed. You do not need to be on public assistance to get an appointment. We will help anyone who needs low-cost services.

  • Appointments book out months, so contact us early.
  • If you have multiple cats, please make sure all of them—male and female—get fixed, even if they are indoor only.
  • Kittens can be fixed around 3-4 months old and can start breeding at 4-5 months old, so please make appointments for kittens early. Please DO NOT give away or sell unfixed kittens! Contact us if you need to surrender any cats, or please get all kittens fixed before finding them new homes.
  • Nursing mothers can be fixed after kittens have stopped nursing, between 7-9 weeks of age, so call early to set an appointment for that time. Separate mom from the kittens for at least a week ahead of the appointment to help her milk dry up. Note that cats can get pregnant while nursing, so keep them separated from unfixed males and indoors at all times.
  • Pregnant cats can and should be spayed, so if you think your cat may be pregnant, please let us know so we can get your cat in as soon as possible. Spaying pregnant cats is a very safe and very common way to prevent unwanted litters.
  • Male cats can still impregnate females up to 6 weeks after surgery, so they must still be kept apart from unfixed females after they are fixed for at least 6 weeks.
  • If you got your cat from a rescue, contact them directly about getting an appointment for the cat to be fixed.
  • If you got your cat from a breeder or pet store you can take it to a regular veterinarian to be fixed. Our service is not for people who have paid breeders or pet stores for their pet.
  • If you are trapping, make sure you have an appointment date set before you begin trapping, unless you have a plan for keeping the cat in a large dog crate for up to several weeks. Click here to read our trapping tips.
